Fund Drive To Benefit Firefighter’s Museum

HICKORY, NC – In order to preserve and maintain the heritage of fire service for Catawba County, the Catawba County Firefighter’s Association is conducting a fund drive. In February, Catawba County residents will receive a letter from the Catawba County Firefighter’s Association asking for donations to benefit the Firefighter’s Museum. Funds received will be used for continuing life safety education programs, the firefighters’ memorial monument, and museum operations.

“Realizing the importance of the museum, this letter has been endorsed by each fire chief within Catawba County” said Mark Hinson, President of the Catawba County Firefighter’s Association. “It is also important to note that 100% of donated funds will go to the Catawba County Firefighter’s Association. Should you have questions, contact your local fire chief or local community firefighter.”
